Romsey and the surrounding parishes in the southern part of the Borough of Test Valley. Weekly services operate as follows:

  • Tuesday morning: Wellow
  • Wednesday afternoon (fortnightly): Kings Sombourne
  • Thursday morning: Chilworth / Rownhams / Nursling
  • Thursday afternoon: Ampfield / Braishfield
  • Friday morning: Chilworth / Valley Park / North Baddesley

Various services cover Romsey itself – please enquire for details.

Destination:
All services can drop-off anywhere within Romsey town centre on request. Services leave from outside the main entrance of the Waitrose supermarket and call as necessary at Romsey Bus Station (close to the Aldi and Co-op supermarkets).

Fares:
Fares are similar to bus fares from the same areas. For example, the fare from North Baddesley is £2.50 for a return journey (as at January 2006).
The Test Valley Concessionary Farepass is accepted and should be shown to the driver. Alternatively payment in cash can be made to the driver at the point of pick-up. Please note that drivers do not carry a float so it is best to have the correct fare ready.

Booking:
Bookings can be made up to a week in advance. To be sure of getting a place, you must book by 12 noon on the day before travel. For example, if you want to travel on Tuesday from Wellow, you must ring by noon on Monday.

To make a booking, ring 01264 356808 between 9.00am and 4.30pm, Monday-Friday. Outside these times, you may make a booking by leaving a message on our answerphone.
